
Tasty temptations
Ingredients
- 350g basmati rice
- 2 sachets of saffron and a pinch of thyme
- 1dl extravirgin olive oil
- 50g butter
- half a chopped onion
- spinach and a red pepper
- Parmigiano cheese
Equipment
- oven tray
- chopping board
- ladle, spoon and knife
- medium-sized cutter
Preparation
Pre-heat the oven in combined mode to 160°C. Place the rice in a tray, cover with water, add a spoonful of olive oil, the saffron, salt, chopped onion and butter and mix together. Place the tray in the oven and cook for approximately 20 minutes.
When the rice is cooked, add the Parmigiano cheese and chopped thyme.
Press the cutter firmly into the pepper and spinach to create a base, then add a few spoonfuls of rice, press down again and remove the cutter.
Garnish to taste and serve hot.
