

History
In 1983 Erre 2 S.r.l. sprang from a solid tradition of catering equipment with the idea of making an innovative oven to combine with the static ovens conventionally used in catering. The following year the solid experience of Luigi Ongaro, one of the founders, allowed the company to present the first range of convection ovens with which large amounts of food could be cooked in a very short time with excellent results.
In the mid 80s, to meet the needs of chefs for innovative tools with which to prepare refined “nouvelle cuisine” dishes that preserve all their nutriments and organoleptic principles Erre 2 designed and produced a line of highly versatile steam and combined ovens.
Constantly in step with the times, in 1993 the company is to the fore in launching on the market the first digital oven provided with video and a sophisticated electronic circuit board that makes it possible to programme and memorize a large number of recipes and many other functions.
To its wide range of convection and combined ovens, in 2002 Erre 2 adds refrigeration, for which it has designed a complete line over the years: from blast chillers to two lines of refrigerated cupboards, to a large selection of refrigerated tables.
More recently, with the advent of molecular cuisine, 2007 hailed the arrival of the latest addition to the Erre 2 family: the Erremix combined oven, with its extraordinary potential enhanced by Stimmy, an innovative accessory that makes it unique.
During year 2009 our oven range has been completed with the new Series: Erreconv-Action, Junior and Basic Line.
In over 25 years of activity Erre 2 has always paid special attention to its customers’ needs, the quality of its products and the environment. The strength of tradition and the company’s dynamic forces produce examples of highly reliable, functional and solid products in the two spheres of hot and cold.
